R Cox, 19 yoa, Rogers Minnesota

for Prostitution, Class H Felony
Summary of Incident:
On March 21, 2009 at approximately 530pm
a Tomah Police Officer was approached by an 18 year old male
subject. The reporting party advised the officer that while he was
near Gillette Park he was approached by an unknown male subject.
The unknown subject propositioned the reporting party for sexual
favors and in return he would be given money. The offer was turned
down.
In the immediate area officers located
Joseph R Cox, 19 yoa, from Rogers Minnesota. Cox was identified by
the reporting party as being the subject that offered him the money
for sexual favors. While speaking with the officers Cox admitted to
speaking to the reporting party about sex, adding that the talk of
money also occurred. Joseph Cox was arrested for the Solicitation
of Prostitution, a class H Felony.
Cox was transported to the Monroe County
jail.
Upon further investigation it was
determined that Cox had been arrested by the Fargo North Dakota
Police Department, on March 3, 2009, for 2 felony counts of indecent
exposure with in 50 feet of a school.

provided with this News Release. The Tomah Police Department is
providing this picture in an attempt to determine if there were any
other incidents which have occurred involving Joseph Cox. If anyone
